Our BE PRESENT scent combines three oils high in linalool. The compound linalool is known to increase alpha brain waves, which are present during states of meditation.
Thyme - can promote focus and peacefulness. The oil has a balancing effect on mood, preventing any distracting mood swings.
Ylang ylang - is often said to have a 'harmonising' effect, helping us to level our emotions and feel content. This uplifting effect, coupled with its high linalool content, enhances the quality of meditation.
Lavender - The soothing, calming properties of lavender promote mindfulness and help to distract from discomfort or unease.
Our beautiful range of candles are hand poured and 100% plant based. We use coconut & Rapeseed wax and pure organic essential oils.
It's important to set aside some time for ourselves everyday, even if it’s for 5 or 10 minutes. Just this short amount of time can work wonders on our nervous system, stress levels and mindset.

Before you start light the candle and the let the aroma start to fill the room (approximately 20 minute's) notice how you are feeling, for example, irritable, stressed, anxious etc. Put on our BE PRESENT playlist, close your eyes or focus on the flame of the candle (obviously not too close) and spend a minute taking some nice deep breaths bring your nervous system back into a calm & relaxed state and begin your meditation or journaling.
